This CD project Combines the superb artistry of two masters of their craft..Terry Gibbs-vibes, & Joey DeFrancesco-B3! This is a true study in viable bebop & the horn line. Both Gibbs & DeFrancesco deliver thematic linear solos with an abundance of melodic ideas??And, these are delivered with clarity, logic, and wit. Gibbs & Joey edify us with inventive & unusual rhythmic textures & accents through their precise & finely tuned contrapuntal solos. This is a very artistically fertile group delivering their wondrous music with an emphasized bent on color, character, & genuine subjective originality.
