CD Reviews: Royce Campbell..A Jazz Guitar Christmas..Moon Cycle Records..2003
Posted by: Adminon Friday, December 16, 2005 - 07:48 PM
Reviews By John Gilbert

Royce Campbell, along with Tom Baldwin on Bass and Howard Curtis on
drums have put together a jazzy Christmas album, The tunes are the usual
holiday music but performed in the classy and professional manner of the
aforementioned trio.

Everette Greene sings "Live Everyday Like Christmas" in a manner not
unlike Earl Coleman with a bit of Billy Eckstine thrown in for good
measure. This is an original tune by Campbell and Greene is superb.

If you are a holiday music buff, then this is the CD for you...
