Tony Adamo & Ernie Watts Record at Cherokee Studios
A press release announcing that saxophonist Ernie Watts had recorded horn parts at Cherokee Recording Studios in Los Angeles for singer Tony Adamo's new soul-jazz album, produced by Jerry Stucker and planned for early 2005. It was their second recording together, after Adamo's Dance of Love on Rhombus Records.
The songs recorded at the session included War's The World Is a Ghetto, the original Wouldn't You Like to Know and Grover Washington Jr.'s Winelight with lyrics by Kurt Elling.
