A profile of pianist Hiromi Uehara, written for The Daily Yomiuri, who described hearing chords in the horns of a traffic jam thanks to her perfect pitch.

It noted influences such as Art Tatum, Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Michel Petrucciani and Rachmaninoff, and reported that her 2003 debut album Another Mind sold more than 100,000 copies in Japan and was named foreign jazz album of the year at the Recording Industry Association of Japan's Gold Disc Awards in March 2004.
