Charles Lloyd Quintet to Perform at Blue Note

A press release announcing that saxophonist and flutist Charles Lloyd would play the Blue Note in New York from January 28 to February 2, 2003, with pianist Geri Allen, guitarist John Abercrombie, bassist Robert Hurst and drummer Eric Harland, following the release of his album Lift Every Voice.

It recalled Lloyd's success with Forest Flower in 1966, his withdrawal from the scene for much of the 1970s and his return in the 1990s with a series of albums on ECM Records.
