John Kelman reviewed Insight, a solo piano album by John Taylor that followed his trio records Overnight (2002) and Rosslyn (2003).

The program revisits pieces from Taylor's time with the Peter Erskine Trio, Ambleside from his duo with John Surman and Field Day from Rosslyn, plus versions of Kenny Wheeler's Everybody's Song But My Own and Steve Swallow's Vaguely Asian. Kelman called it a classic.
